The
principals of citilinks have worked
together in various capacities for a period approaching
fifteen years. Projects have ranged from catalogue
and specification sheet design to 3D modeling and
animation to dynamic multimedia productions. As the
Internet has grown, so has our involvement in its
propagation. Each partner exhibits strengths which
complement the other's.
Jim
Chapin leads our graphic design department. Originally
schooled as a commercial artist, he is experienced
in traditional layout and design, photography, audio
and video production, computer illustration, 2D/3D
animation and desktop publishing. As new technologies
on the Internet have developed, Jim has continued
to grow, acquiring new skills in the field of multimedia
and web design including the use of Macromedia Flash
and Director.
Heading
our programming department is David Pacheco.
Originally trained in FORTRAN, David has expanded
his talents to other languages, including those used
on the Internet - Cold Fusion, PHP, Perl CGI scripting,
SQL, Java, Javascript development and the latest in
HTML and DHTML, including both Netscape and Microsoft
extensions. David is also extremely talented in the
technical graphics area, being accomplished in the
use of AutoCad and various 3D modeling programs. He
has further expanded his own knowledge and understanding
of Internet programming by teaching classes in basic
HTML. and working on Oracle database design and web
integration.
